There wasn't much to get spooked out about this year, but Halloween 2020 didn't go by quietly. Not where shock rockers Sinister Fate were concerned. They treated longtime and new fans to Broken Minds, Damaged Hearts. It's their first full length album since Hellbound in 2012. On this Halloween Hangover edition of Local Loft,it's two new helpings of ear candy from the new record.
Industrial rock has been zapping listeners since the early 90s. Chicago's W.O.R.M.(The World Organization For The Righteous Movement) gives great electronically treated hard rock for a good cause.
Legendary thrash metal has influenced a generation of local rockers to play the music their parents grew up with. New Lenox band End Of Anarchy, despite being only 17 rocked as if they were much older. A rock back to four years ago this week when I discovered and introduced these teen thrashers to Local Loft listeners.
Along with these, you're craving second helpings of local metal,punk,alt-rock,prog rock and power pop ear candy from Chicagoland and Illinois from:
